Justice for Adriana: 13 Years Without Paid Holidays and Below Minimum Wage
CAIWU is demanding justice for Adriana Patricia Jimenez, a cleaner who worked for over 13 years for corporate executive Erica Gallo. The union has filed a legal complaint concerning unpaid holidays, pay below the legal minimum wage and alleged victimisation following Adriana's contact with her union.

13 years of work. No paid holidays. Below minimum wage.
CAIWU is supporting member Adriana Patricia Jimenez in her fight for justice after more than 13 years working as a cleaner for Erica Gallo, a corporate executive and self-declared advocate for sustainability and inclusion.
During her employment, Adriana reports that she was denied paid holidays and received wages below the legal minimum wage.
She also alleges that she was provided with payslips showing payments she never received.
Following Adriana's decision to contact her trade union, she reports facing retaliation and dismissal.
CAIWU has filed a legal complaint concerning alleged breaches of:
National Minimum Wage Act 1998
Working Time Regulations 1998
Equality Act 2010 (Victimisation)
CAIWU demands:
Full payment of outstanding wages and holiday compensation.
A formal apology from Erica Gallo.
Respect and dignity for all workers, including migrant cleaners.
No worker should spend over a decade working without receiving their basic employment rights.
Those who publicly advocate for inclusion must also be held accountable for how they treat the workers who maintain their homes and workplaces.
CAIWU stands with Adriana in her fight for justice, fair pay and dignity at work.
INCLUSION MEANS EVERYONE, NOT JUST THE BOARDROOM.
