Employment Rights Act 2025 Becomes Law The Employment Rights Act 2025 received Royal Assent on 18 December 2025, introducing significant reforms to UK employment law. The changes will be implemented in stages throughout 2026 and 2027.

The Employment Rights Bill officially became law after receiving Royal Assent on 18 December 2025, becoming the Employment Rights Act 2025.
